La mia camera era piena di pezzi di legno da montare…ma io ero davvero contenta!

My bedroom was full of wooden piece to be assembled…but I was really happy!
Ho diviso tutti i chiodi, viti, aggeggini vari negli stampini per i muffins, in modo da non perdere niente e avere tutto a portata di mano!

I separeted all the nails, screws, various things in the muffins moulds, so not to lose anything and having all the things I needed at my fingertips!
Mentre John ha iniziato a montare il mio armadio (è molto utile avere come coinquilino il figlio di un falegname!! 
) ho cotto il dolce di Yogurt e preparato la cena: Salmone, riso e “mushy peas” (=è una specie di purea di piselli, che mangiano tanto qua in Inghilterra).

While John started assembling my wardrobe (it’s really usefull having a house-mate that is a joiner’s son!! ) I baked the Yogurt cake and cooked the dinner: Salmon, rice and “mushy peas” .
Alle 23 ci siamo dovuti fermare, perchè non volevamo disturbare i vicini di casa con il rumore. Questo è il punto a cui siamo arrivati prima di andare a dormire…vedete il mio materasso nuovo proprio accanto all’armadio e pronto a offrirmi un bel sonno!! In realtà, quella notte non ho dormito per niente, perchè ogni minuto mi giravo e pensavo: “..come ci sto bene su questo materasso! Mi sembra incredibile dormire su un materasso vero…che bello il mio armadio, domani potrò metterci tutte le mie cose..!”

At 11pm we had to stop, because we didn’t want to disturb the neighbours with the noise. This is the point where we arrived before going to sleep…and you can see my new mattress next to the wardrobe, it was ready to offer me a good sleep!! Well, I actually didn’t sleep at all that night, because every minute I was moving and thinking: “..I feel really well in this mattress! It seems incredible sleeping on a real mattress…my wardrobe is really nice, tomorrow I will be able to put all my things inside..!”
Ieri sera abbiamo finito di montare il mio armadio..e la mia camera è pronta!! Ho provato a spostare l’armadio accanto al termosifone, ho provato a mettere il letto in un’altra direzione (ma avevo anche già disegnato tutto sul computer…ehehehehe!), ma come immaginavo questa è la posizione migliore per entrambi.

Yesterday evening we finished assembling my wardrobe..and my bedroom is ready!! I tried to move the wardrobe next to the radiator, I even tried to put the bed in another direction (but I already drew everything on my computer….ahahahah!), but as I imagined this is the best positions for both of them.
Se non voglio chiudere la tenda alla Velux sopra al mio letto, posso anche guardare le stelle prima di addormentarmi!

If I don’t want to close the blind on the Velux over my bed, I can even gazing at the stars before falling asleep!
Non ho ancora finito di infilare tutte le mie cose dentro! Sono venuta a Cambridge oggi per comprare qualche gruccia e altri oggetti che mi saranno utili. Adesso ho altri progetti in mente, di cose che dovrò comprare o costruire per migliorare la camera e usare al meglio lo spazio che ho. …ma devo aspettare di avere un pò di soldi in tasca!! 
Per ora sono contenta così, è già un bel passo avanti!!

I have not finished yet putting all my things inside! I came to Cambridge today to buy some hangers and other things that will be useful. I’ve got other projects in my mind, things that I’ll have to buy or built to improve my bedroom and use the space I have at its best. …but I need to wait to have a bit of money in my pockets!! For now I’m really happy for how it is, it is a big step forward!!
Mi sono girata e ho guardato dalla finestra della biblioteca…è iniziato a nevicare! Siamo in stato di allarme oggi qua, stanno aspettando tanta neve! ..quindi meglio che mi muova, vado ai negozi e torno a casa di corsa prima di rimanere bloccata!! Ciao!

I turned my head and watched out of the Library’s window..and it started snowing! We are in allarm here today, they’re waiting lot of snow! ..so it’s better for me to move, I have to go at the shops and then back home before being stuck here!! Ciao!

Io durante le vacanze natalizie ho fatto la scorta di cieli stellati italiani, in Cina e` meglio cercare il romanticismo altrove, magari nei fiori o nella varita` di frutti, purtroppo il cielo, per via dell`inquinamento, lo possono solo piu` immaginare…
