My bedroom is full of bags and shoppers…they’re all my possessions here in England! I am still sleeping on a camping air mattress, but n the 16th it should arrive a wardrobe and a real mattress and my life should improve!
Non ho ancora realizzato che mi sono spostata qua, sembra ancora tutto “provvisorio”, a parte la mattina quando per spengere la sveglia sbatacchio nel muro, perchè la direzione del letto è cambiata!! ..bel modo di svegliarsi il mio!! E il mio contratto è permanente!

I still have not realised that I have moved here, it seems everything so “temporary”, except that in the mornings when I want to turn my alarm off, I bang in the wall, because the direction of my bed is changed!! ..good way of waking up!! And my contract is permanent!
Ho attaccato qualche fiocco di neve alla finestra per sentire più il Natale, che quest’anno è volato via e non mi sono resa conto che Babbo Natale è arrivato e ha lasciato tante cose per me, dall’Italia e dall’Inghilterra! Grazie Babbo Natale!

I sticked some snowflakes on my window to feel Christmas a bit more. This year the time is flown away and I didn’t realised that Father Christmas arrived and left many things for me, from Italy and England! Thank you Father Christmas!
Nell’unico giorno libero che ho avuto tra Natale e Capodanno ho preparato qualche biscotto alla Cannella e Zenzero da regalare ai miei nuovi vicini di casa! Di solito facevo questi biscotti per i miei nipoti, e ho pensato che poteva essere bello farli comunque e regalarli alle persone che mi sono vicine qua!

In my only free day that I had between Christmas and New Year I baked some Ginger and Cinnamon biscuits, to give as a present to my new neighbours! Usually I made these biscuits for my nephews, and I though it could have been good baking them anyway and give them as a present to the people that live close to me here!
Auguro a tutti voi un Felice 2013! Io ho un pò da fare qua: ambientarmi nei nuovi spazi e con i nuovi colleghi. Abituare i miei orecchi al loro dialetto e al loro carattere, che è diverso da quello delle persone dello Yorkshire. Adattarmi al nuovo lavoro e i nuovi compiti che mi vengono affidati, cercando di lavorare sodo e rendere i managers contenti del mio lavoro. I wish all of you a Happy 2013! I’ve got to do here: familiarise with the new spaces and new colleagues. Get my hears used to their dialect and their character, that is different from that of the people from Yorkshire. Adjust myself to my new job and the new tasks they ask me, trying to work hard and make my managers happy with my job.
